Role Overview
The Drain Technician will deliver professional drain cleaning and unclogging solutions to both residential and commercial clients, ensuring customer issues are well diagnosed and explained. This position is full-time and year-round.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform expert drain cleaning and unclogging for residential and commercial customers.
- Clearly communicate diagnosed problems, discuss available repair options, and obtain customer consent before initiating repairs.
- Use various equipment including drain cleaning machines, high-pressure jetting devices, and pipe inspection cameras.
- Keep the service vehicle stocked and organized, accurately track tools, and complete all related service documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years’ experience performing drain cleaning in residential and commercial settings.
- Proficiency operating equipment ranging from small hand tools to large drain cleaning machines.
- Capability to remove and reinstall toilets and p-traps effectively.
- Strong skills in customer communication and service orientation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, with final pay based on experience as detailed in the offer letter.
