About the Role
As a Dispenser in our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role supporting pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure the controlled and efficient delivery of pharmacy and health services. Your duties will include dispensing prescriptions safely, advising customers, and assisting with daily pharmacy operations within the store setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe medication supply including ordering, labeling, endorsing, and prescription collection.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff in-store to help manage and deliver pharmacy services.
- Provide patients with guidance about their medications and escalate any concerns to the pharmacist as needed.
- Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain legal and safe dispensing practices.
- Stay informed about the latest industry technology and operational processes to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Assist patients in managing their repeat prescriptions effectively to ensure medication adherence and minimize waste.

Candidate Requirements
- Completion of Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 or equivalent, or currently pursuing and having completed the first year of an MPharm degree.
- Eligible to work in the UK with valid right to work documentation; sponsorship is not provided.
- Experience in community pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.

The hourly wage ranges from £13.92 up to £16.64 depending on location within London.
