About the Role
The Director of Web and Social Platforms at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for spearheading the strategic planning, development, and oversight of Qiddiya's digital footprint, including its websites and social media channels. This position aims to boost brand presence, deepen audience engagement, and enhance user experience by deploying innovative digital solutions aligned with Qiddiya's ambition as a premier entertainment hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement robust strategies for web and social media that align with corporate marketing goals and business targets.
- Oversee the design, content quality, and functionality of Qiddiya's websites and social platforms ensuring users have a smooth and captivating experience.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns aimed at increasing brand recognition, audience interaction, and lead generation.
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments such as marketing, content creation, IT, and external agencies to ensure unified branding and coherent digital initiatives.
- Utilize analytical tools to track website and social media performance, analyze user engagement and campaign success, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Remain informed about industry advances, new technologies, and digital tools to continuously innovate and improve the company's online presence.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a skilled team responsible for managing the web and social media platforms.
- Administer budgets and maintain relationships with vendors associated with web development and social media management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or related disciplines is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in digital marketing, website management, or leadership roles focused on social media.
- Demonstrated track record managing large-scale web platforms and social media channels for prominent brands.
- Expert understanding of web technologies, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social media analytics tools.
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams and handling agency partnerships.
- Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities to inspire and lead teams effectively.
- Strong strategic orientation with a focused, results-driven mindset coupled with superior problem-solving skills.
