About the Role
Seekr is looking for a dynamic Director or Senior Director to lead Channel and Strategic Partnerships within the U.S. Public Sector. This pivotal role involves developing and scaling a federal partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth, increase bidding activity on significant federal contracts, and establish Seekr's presence in priority government programs and contract vehicles.
The successful candidate will possess well-established connections throughout the Greater Washington, DC federal technology arena, including systems integrators, cloud providers, OEMs, resellers, consulting firms, and emerging defense tech companies. This role will act as a multiplier for Seekr’s federal sales and expansion strategies by spearheading partner-led pipeline creation, collaboration on captures, and ensuring operational readiness.
This position requires extensive cross-functional interaction with Sales, Capture, Business Development, Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement Seekr’s federal partner, channel, and alliance strategy covering Defense, Intelligence, Civilian, and Homeland Security sectors.
- Expand partner-driven pipelines and revenue streams to meet federal growth targets.
- Identify and prioritize strategic partners aligned with federal AI, cybersecurity, and modernization efforts.
- Lead co-selling initiatives with major federal systems integrators, cloud providers, and tech partners focused on government business.
- Develop joint account plans and opportunity pipelines with strategic partners.
- Facilitate entry into significant procurement vehicles such as IDIQs, GWACs, OTAs, and BPAs.
- Accelerate bidding pace and win rates on large federal contracts by orchestrating strategic team alignments and partnership engagements.
- Scout and engage partners who enhance Seekr’s competitive advantage for major federal bids.
- Coordinate teaming approaches across DoD, Intelligence Community, DHS, and Civilian agencies.
- Collaborate closely with capture managers to influence opportunities early in procurement processes.
- Establish scalable partner engagement frameworks to streamline proposal responsiveness and operations.
- Stay informed of federal acquisition trends, AI priorities, and shifting competitive landscapes.
- Recruit and onboard valuable partner organizations in the Greater Washington, DC area and wider federal market.
- Foster executive-level relationships with alliance managers, capture leads, and partner sales teams.
- Create scalable federal partner programs encompassing onboarding, enablement, certification, and field engagement.
- Develop operational processes for tracking partner performance, pipeline contribution, and joint sales execution.
- Represent Seekr at industry gatherings, partner summits, federal conferences, and mission-focused ecosystem events.
- Lead partner readiness programs, including technical and sales training to ensure partners effectively communicate Seekr’s AI platform value in federal mission contexts.
- Produce partner messaging, positioning, sales plays, and materials to distinguish Seekr’s solutions competitively.
- Align partner enablement initiatives with evolving federal AI priorities and market demand signals.
Qualifications
- US Security Clearance eligibility, with preference for active Top Secret clearance holders.
- At least 10 years of experience in federal partnerships, alliances, channel sales, capture, or business development.
- Established track record of forming strategic partnerships within the U.S. Public Sector.
- Robust network throughout the Greater Washington, DC federal technology ecosystem.
- Experience collaborating with federal systems integrators, defense contractors, OEMs, cloud providers, or government-focused tech companies.
- Proven ability to support and influence large federal procurements and capture strategies.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal acquisition methods, teaming frameworks, and contracting environments.
- Background in growing opportunities within AI, cybersecurity, data, cloud, or emerging technology sectors.
- Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Preferred:
- Experience with DoD, Intelligence Community, DHS, or Federal Civilian accounts.
- Knowledge of procurement vehicles like OTAs, IDIQs, GWACs, SBIR/STTR transition pathways, and federal procurement systems.
- Existing relationships with top federal integrators and mission-centric technology partners.
