Role overview

This opportunity is posted for a partner organization that handles applications and the remaining hiring stages directly. The employer is seeking a Director, Regional Sales in the United States.

This is a senior sales leadership role centered on growing enterprise revenue, expanding regional market share, and winning new customers. The position blends strategy with execution: you will guide an experienced sales team, shape scalable processes, and help build a repeatable engine for long-term growth. You will also work closely with product, marketing, customer success, and operations teams to influence go-to-market decisions and business results. The role is best suited to a performance-driven leader who enjoys fast-moving environments and building high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and carry out regional go-to-market plans aimed at enterprise acquisition, revenue expansion, and broader market penetration.
  • Coach, manage, and develop a team of senior sales professionals through regular feedback, performance management, and deal strategy support.
  • Build, refine, and scale sales playbooks and methodologies that improve consistency, efficiency, and conversion outcomes.
  • Grow pipeline, deepen account engagement, and secure new enterprise logos in priority accounts.
  • Set up disciplined processes for forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline oversight to support reliable performance.
  • Develop trusted executive relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in strategic customer accounts.
  • Help drive complex negotiations, pricing conversations, and contract closure while balancing customer needs and business goals.
  • Partner with product, marketing, customer success, and sales operations to strengthen acquisition and customer engagement efforts.
  • Use analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve sales productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Strengthen market visibility and communicate value propositions that address customers’ data and technology challenges.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience leading strong software sales teams, with a clear track record in enterprise business development and revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to bring in new enterprise customers and consistently beat regional quotas and targets.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise software, IT infrastructure, applications, data platforms, or similar technology solutions.
  • Experience building and scaling structured sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or comparable approaches.
  • Demonstrated leadership in hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent.
  • Background managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and senior-level customer conversations.
  • Solid capability in strategic planning, forecasting, territory management, and operational execution.
  • Strong analytical thinking and business judgment, with the ability to use data to improve decisions and results.
  • Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, presentations, and relationship building.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Exposure to database technologies, data management solutions, or adjacent enterprise technology markets is a strong advantage.

Benefits and additional information

  • Competitive pay package.
  • Health and wellness support, including employee assistance and wellbeing programs.
  • Wellness-oriented initiatives such as extra wellness days and support for work-life balance.
  • Remote role available anywhere within the United States.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Inclusive, collaborative workplace culture.
  • Access to support resources focused on physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Chance to work with innovative technologies in a rapidly expanding industry.
  • A culture that emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
