Director - Private Equity

Overview

This opportunity is with a leading investment platform seeking a Director for its Private Equity team. The position will center on identifying, executing, and overseeing investments across the GCC, as well as selected international markets. The portfolio spans healthcare, industrials, technology, business services, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate new deals, develop investment cases, and build a strong pipeline across target sectors and geographies.
• Manage transactions from start to finish, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations.
• Draft and deliver investment papers and presentations for committee consideration to support decision-making.
• Oversee portfolio companies after investment through performance monitoring, board involvement, and value-creation initiatives.
• Participate in exit planning and support investor relations, including co-investment discussions.
• Guide and mentor junior colleagues within a team-oriented investment environment.

Candidate Profile

• 7 to 10 years of experience in private equity, with prior exposure to investment banking such as M&A or leveraged finance, or transaction advisory.
• A demonstrated record of contributing to and executing deals, ideally across the relevant sectors.
• Strong knowledge of GCC and MENA markets, along with an established network of advisors, lenders, and market participants.
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation capability, plus the ability to prepare committee-level investment materials.
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline; CFA and/or an MBA would be an advantage.
