About the Role
Flynn and Chase is seeking an Analyst with 1-2 years of experience to join their Infrastructure Investment Team in Munich, Bavaria. This role offers a significant opportunity for professionals with M&A or Investment Banking backgrounds to transition into the buy-side. You will engage in primaries, secondaries, and co-investments within the infrastructure sector. The platform manages substantial multi-billion-euro programs for institutional investors and possesses a robust track record in European infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist throughout the entire investment process, from initial sourcing and screening to due diligence, execution, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Conduct thorough analysis of infrastructure funds and direct/co-investment prospects across European and OECD markets.
- Develop and meticulously review financial models, including DCF, LBO, and project/asset models, alongside return analyses.
- Prepare comprehensive materials for investment committee review, such as memos, presentations, and supporting analytical data.
- Contribute to strategic portfolio construction, performance tracking, and reporting initiatives.
- Provide support for fundraising efforts and client communication activities.
- Monitor developments in key sectors including energy transition, transport, digital infrastructure, utilities, and social infrastructure.
Requirements
- Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally within M&A or Investment Banking.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Have prior transaction experience, including involvement in live deals, due diligence processes, and financial analysis.
- Exhibit a keen interest in infrastructure and real assets investing.
- Maintain an excellent academic record.
- Possess strong communication abilities, a detail-oriented approach, and a proactive work ethic.
- Be fluent in both English and German.
