Role overview
This is a senior leadership opportunity based in the United States, focused on client partnership success within healthcare revenue cycle engagements. The position plays a key role in improving operational performance, financial outcomes, and service delivery across managed healthcare accounts. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to client leadership, help shape operating plans, remove barriers, and guide teams toward consistent execution.
The role combines relationship management, healthcare revenue cycle expertise, and executive communication. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional efforts, and support large-scale on-site operations to ensure partnership goals are met.
What you'll do
- Own day-to-day client operations across healthcare revenue cycle programs and keep financial, operational, and service targets on track.
- Create, roll out, and monitor strategic initiatives, policies, and action plans that support both client priorities and organizational objectives.
- Develop trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and serve as the main point of escalation.
- Spot performance shortfalls and process inefficiencies, then recommend and drive practical improvements.
- Run recurring business reviews and operational discussions with client leaders, including CFOs and other executives.
- Track key revenue cycle indicators such as bad debt, compliance, payer updates, and process optimization efforts.
- Coordinate and influence cross-functional as well as on-site teams to ensure accountability and strong delivery across engagements.
- Convert detailed operational and financial information into clear insights, reports, and recommendations for clients.
Experience and qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, or comparable professional experience, in healthcare, finance, business, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–5+ years in healthcare revenue cycle management in complex, client-facing settings.
- At least 3–5+ years leading people, including multi-level and matrixed teams.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, align teams, and move initiatives forward in demanding situations.
- Strong executive presentation and communication skills, with the ability to make complex information easy to understand.
- Background working directly with senior client stakeholders, including executive and board-level audiences.
- Solid understanding of revenue cycle operations, healthcare financial workflows, and performance improvement methods.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with limited oversight.
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%.
- Experience using AI tools or leading technology-enabled process improvement efforts is considered an advantage.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual salary range of USD 111,000 to USD 167,000, depending on experience and location.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Retirement savings support and financial wellness resources.
- Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable.
- Support for professional certifications and tuition reimbursement opportunities.
- Performance-based incentives and recognition programs.
- Opportunities for career advancement, leadership growth, and internal mobility.
- An inclusive, collaborative workplace focused on purpose and continuous improvement.
