The firm manages a significant caseload in federal and state courts across California, representing hundreds of thousands of employees and consumers with cases involving wage-and-hour disputes, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising. Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a seasoned legal executive to lead our talent acquisition and organizational development efforts. This senior role extends beyond traditional hiring duties to include shaping workforce strategy and fostering an environment where employees can thrive and develop to their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for senior and niche positions.
- Collaborate with leadership to anticipate hiring demands and develop proactive talent pipelines.
- Improve employer branding and enhance the candidate experience.
- Maintain strong partnerships with external recruiters and staffing agencies to support recruitment goals.
- Create sourcing strategies focused on attracting diverse, highly qualified candidates.
- Design and deliver training programs, leadership development, and succession plans.
- Work alongside managers to identify skill deficiencies and implement targeted development plans.
- Evaluate organizational needs to recommend methods that boost culture, engagement, and retention.
- Analyze training and development initiatives’ success and make improvements accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communication, or related field required.
- Advanced degrees (MS, MBA, JD) in Leadership, Psychology, or Organizational Development are preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in talent acquisition or development, including at least 3 years in senior strategic roles.
- Experience in the professional services sector, especially in growth-focused law firms, is advantageous.
- Evidence of organizational development, training, and talent management expertise.
- Strong commercial insight and ability to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal capabilities.
Employment Details and Benefits
- Position is full-time and onsite at Glendale, CA.
- Competitive salary range: $145,000 to $175,000 annually.
