Overview
Join Metro South Health as the Director of Strategic Programs, where you will spearhead transformative healthcare initiatives to shape patient care across one of Queensland's largest health services. This leadership role involves driving strategic reform, enhancing clinical networks, and implementing innovative programs to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and governance of complex, organization-wide strategic programs including the Clinical Network initiatives.
- Provide expert strategic counsel to executive leadership and act as Metro South Health's representative in statewide forums and collaborations.
- Foster integrated care models through engagement with clinical leaders, executives, and external partners.
- Leverage data analysis, evaluation, and innovation techniques to achieve sustained improvements in patient care, service efficiency, and system capability.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leader with extensive experience managing substantial strategic programs within healthcare or public sector settings.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement, with a track record influencing high-level decision-making.
- Strong analytical aptitude for utilizing data and evidence to guide strategy, monitor performance, and promote continuous improvements.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational transformation, governance frameworks, and effective change management to realize lasting outcomes.
