Role Summary

We are actively seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to spearhead growth initiatives across our conferencing, events, and leisure divisions. Although based in Melbourne, this role involves travel to our Marysville property as needed. This position is an excellent opportunity to elevate a distinctive resort destination, foster valuable client partnerships, and significantly impact the resort's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Uncover and secure new business within corporate conferencing, events, and leisure market segments.
• Formulate and implement sales plans that promote revenue growth and fulfill organizational goals.
• Develop and nurture robust relationships with clients, collaborators, and primary market stakeholders.
• Manage site tours and client presentations to highlight the resort's appeal.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue and Marketing teams to enhance commercial outcomes.
• Evaluate market trends and forecasts to inform strategic decisions.

Candidate Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in sales within hotel, resort, or tourism sectors, specifically familiar with corporate, event, and leisure markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to exceed sales targets and increase revenue.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at relationship building and negotiation.
• Strategic mindset capable of recognizing market opportunities and delivering results.
