Job description
Overview
This role focuses on driving sales and expanding the customer base across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region for AppViewX. The successful candidate will manage the entire sales cycle to meet and exceed sales targets, while enhancing market presence and fostering customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and implement a targeted sales strategy to grow the company's footprint in the EMEA marketplace.
- Systematically identify and evaluate new business prospects using market insights, networking, and direct outreach across international regions.
- Handle all aspects of the sales funnel including prospect identification, delivering presentations, drafting proposals, negotiating agreements, and finalizing contracts.
- Prioritize building a strong sales pipeline and market expansion in key emerging European, Middle Eastern, and African territories.
Market and Client Engagement
- Establish and nurture enduring client relations, positioning as a trusted consultant and subject expert for customers.
- Collect and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and changing industry regulations to guide product and sales strategies.
- Represent the enterprise at relevant sector events and conferences.
- Work collaboratively with marketing to tailor promotional materials and initiatives to regional market demands.
Sales Administration and Compliance
- Maintain comprehensive and current sales forecasts and records using the company’s CRM tools.
- Prepare and present quarterly updates on regional sales progress, obstacles, and strategic plans to executive leadership.
- Ensure adherence to applicable international trade laws and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Proven progression in sales roles with experience closing complex, high-value deals spanning multiple international territories.
- Excellent English communication capabilities, both verbal and written.
- Readiness to travel as necessitated by role demands.
Travel Expectations
Travel to meet clients, partners, and attend industry events will be required intermittently.
