This fast-paced, team-centric environment seeks a strategic leader to guide marketing efforts that boost ticket sales, fan acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute marketing strategies that utilize data to increase single-game ticket sales and grow the fan base.
- Manage performance marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and emerging media platforms.
- Collaborate with Ticket Sales, Business Intelligence, and Ticket Operations to align marketing with inventory and revenue goals.
- Develop comprehensive marketing funnels to convert prospects and maintain fan engagement.
- Monitor and improve campaign measurement, audience segmentation, and marketing ROI.
- Oversee marketing for various ticketing products including memberships, premium seating, suites, and group sales.
- Drive fan development strategies focused on acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value growth.
- Utilize consumer insights and research to identify audience growth opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver cohesive campaigns integrating creative, social, partnership, merchandise, and community efforts.
- Implement targeted multicultural and emerging audience campaigns to expand fan reach.
- Evaluate and integrate new marketing technologies and platforms to enhance engagement and revenue.
- Support broader brand marketing initiatives to enhance brand affinity and cultural relevance.
- Collaborate on messaging, creative briefs, and promotional efforts that align marketing with the organization's voice and strategic priorities.
- Oversee and develop high-performing Performance Marketing and Fan Development teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Mentor team members and manage relationships with agencies and media buyers to optimize campaigns.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of leadership experience in performance marketing, revenue marketing, fan development, or growth marketing within sports or entertainment.
- Proven experience in developing data-driven marketing campaigns tied to direct revenue and customer acquisition.
- Strong understanding of paid media strategies, audience targeting, CRM, marketing analytics, and attribution.
- Experience managing multifunctional teams and collaborating across departments.
- Ability to interpret data and consumer insights to create actionable marketing strategies.
- Excellent organizational, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, live sports environments and availability to support events during evenings and weekends as necessary.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bonus experience in membership, loyalty, or fan engagement programs.
