Role Overview
We are hiring a Director of Projects & Aftermarket Services for the EMEA region. This senior position is responsible for overseeing successful project delivery and expanding aftermarket services. The role encompasses managing project execution, service operations, achieving customer satisfaction, ensuring financial goals are met, fostering team development, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Projects & Aftermarket Services strategy aligned with corporate objectives across EMEA.
- Ensure all projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet quality criteria.
- Promote growth in aftermarket offerings including field services, maintenance agreements, upgrades, retrofits, spare parts, and lifecycle management solutions.
- Manage financial outcomes by overseeing revenue streams, profitability, forecasting accuracy, and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with strategic customers, serving as the executive sponsor for major accounts.
- Lead and motivate a dispersed team across the region, encouraging accountability, team collaboration, and continual improvement.
- Enforce a culture of safety, quality control, regulatory compliance, and adherence to best practices in project governance.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a degree in Engineering, Business, or a closely related field; advanced degrees like an MBA or Master's are preferred.
- Bring at least 15 years of senior leadership experience in project management, operations, services, or equivalent sectors.
- Have a proven ability managing organizations across multiple EMEA countries with full profit and loss accountability.
- Exhibit strong commercial insight particularly within capital equipment, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial services sectors.
- Demonstrate experience successfully leading large-scale projects and managing service and customer-facing teams.
- Be fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is a bonus.
