Job description

Company Overview

Coral Connect is focused on helping healthcare organizations deliver better care at lower cost by connecting them with solutions that improve operational results. The company works across technology-enabled partnerships, pharmacy management, and value-focused sourcing to make care delivery more efficient and effective. Through specialized services and innovative tools, Coral Connect supports streamlined operations and stronger patient outcomes.

Role Overview

Coral Connect is hiring a Director of Product Strategy to serve as the bridge between client needs, the sales process, and product direction. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales to convert market feedback into concrete product choices, shape the roadmap, define the offering, and ensure the company builds solutions that create value for both Coral and its customers.

You will need to understand the company’s full range of managed services, including procurement enablement, drug cost management, and pharmacy operations, and look for opportunities where multiple services can work together for clients. The role also calls for forward-looking thinking: identifying new services or products before the market makes the need obvious.

This is a role for someone who looks beyond the stated request and digs into the underlying problem. The strongest insights often sit beneath the surface of what a customer asks for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap story, including what gets prioritized, why it comes first, and how the sequencing supports business goals.
  • Balance input from sales, customers, and leadership and turn it into a clear set of priorities.
  • Make data-backed prioritization decisions and clearly explain the trade-offs.
  • Use deal debriefs as a source of research by understanding why prospects chose to buy, pass, or delay.
  • Turn repeated customer pain points into broader product themes instead of focusing on isolated feature asks.
  • Maintain an active tracker of reasons the company wins or loses deals and use it in quarterly roadmap reviews.
  • Spot missing capabilities that are holding back revenue and present well-supported business cases.
  • Set clear boundaries between core product, configurable elements, and service delivery in a tech-enabled services model.
  • Protect the roadmap from excessive custom work while identifying patterns that should become standard features.
  • Work with operations and implementation teams to clarify where product responsibilities end and service delivery begins.
  • Build a strong understanding of Coral’s managed services portfolio and how the offerings connect.
  • Identify customers who are not fully using the broader portfolio and make those opportunities visible.
  • Map customer maturity to the portfolio so clients can move naturally from a single service into broader platform adoption.
  • Convert multi-service usage patterns into actionable product requirements.
  • Continuously study the market and competitors to find gaps in drug cost management, procurement, and pharmacy services.
  • Spend time with customers to understand their real operating environment, including workarounds and manual processes that indicate unmet needs.
  • Bring forward structured ideas for new products or services, including perspective on market size, customer demand, build-versus-partner choices, and revenue approach.
  • Explore adjacent opportunities with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Create early internal alignment for new concepts, from rough ideas to leadership-ready business cases.
  • Define and refine positioning for pharmacy enablement and drug cost management services.
  • Contribute to pricing and packaging as the platform evolves.
  • Create lightweight artifacts and feedback loops, such as high-level requirements and one-pagers, to keep teams aligned and moving quickly.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in product management or product strategy, preferably in B2B or healthcare technology.
  • Professional background in healthcare, pharma supply chain, specialty pharmacy, or drug procurement.
  • Experience in an early-stage or growth-stage company where responsibilities extended beyond a standard PM role.
  • Strong ability to convert customer conversations and sales feedback into product direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce concise one-pagers and present them to critical audiences.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and making good decisions without complete information.
  • Adaptability and willingness to pivot when plans change.
  • Ability to create and support new product or service concepts from idea to business case.
  • Curiosity about customer behavior and the discipline to ask deeper follow-up questions.
  • Experience working closely with a sales team, especially in pre-sales or solutions-type work.
  • Familiarity with tech-enabled services businesses rather than purely SaaS models.
  • Proven influence over roadmaps without owning engineering directly.
  • Track record of helping launch new service lines or products in a services-led organization.
