Role Overview

The Director of Procurement & Supply Chain holds a crucial senior leadership position responsible for the strategic leadership and daily operations of the organization's procurement and supply chain departments. This leader will envision and execute comprehensive strategies that improve operational workflows while realizing cost efficiencies. The role demands managing a diverse team that synchronizes procurement activities with production, inventory, and distribution functions. • Perform market research and oversee demand forecasting to optimize inventory levels, minimizing shortages and excess stock.
• Promote continuous advancements within supply chain processes by leveraging technological innovations and best practices.
• Generate and communicate supply chain analytics and forecasts to executive leadership, highlighting strategic risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives that focus on cost efficiency and supply optimization.
• Broad expertise in supply chain analytics, demand planning, inventory regulation, and supplier relationship management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory mandates and compliance criteria affecting procurement and supply chain functions.
• Proven leadership capability in managing cross-functional teams and steering organizational change initiatives effectively.
