Role Overview
CV Resources is collaborating with a distinguished organization in the Pacific Northwest seeking a Director of People and Culture based in Beaverton, OR. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on crafting outstanding teams and directly engaging in daily operational activities across a multi-state enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a skilled HR team, including People Business Partners and HRIS specialists.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership across various locations.
- Lead initiatives involving employee relations, leadership coaching, and performance management.
- Develop and refine HR policies, workflows, and programs to support organizational growth.
- Oversee functions such as compensation strategy, workforce planning, regulatory compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
- Cultivate an engaging, employee-centric culture aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with leaders on complex personnel matters, organizational transformation, and talent strategies.
- Combine long-term strategic vision with practical execution and problem solving.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Director of HR or a senior HR manager poised to advance.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and business partnership roles.
- Proven ability to lead through organizational growth and change management.
- Practical leadership approach embracing both strategic planning and operational involvement.
- Experience designing and enhancing HR processes and programs.
- Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance standards, and HR best practices.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory; Master's degree is advantageous.
- Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
