Role Overview
NEO Energy is hiring a Director of Operations focused on substation work. The role is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and involves overseeing Texas substation operations for a leading utility contracting environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coordinate substation operations across Texas.
- Oversee EPC assignments, including engineering-related activities.
- Handle client relationships, business development efforts, project delivery, scheduling, and accounting coordination.
- Communicate effectively with both field teams and senior leadership, including company presidents.
Experience and Skills Needed
- Strong ability to manage workstreams and client expectations.
- Working knowledge of substation construction and related index systems.
- Solid understanding of project management, scheduling, and accounting basics.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Prior field experience is essential.
- Ability to juggle several projects at the same time.
- Background in construction management is required.
