About the Opportunity

An established technology lifecycle company is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee its Columbus, Ohio-based operations. The position focuses on running a large, multi-building processing and warehouse environment while strengthening performance across safety, quality, productivity, and financial results.

Role Overview

This leadership role is accountable for the smooth execution of daily site activity, team development, and ongoing process improvement. The successful candidate will work across production, warehousing, and logistics to help the business scale efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee everyday operations across production, warehouse, and logistics areas.
  • Track site performance, manage KPIs, staffing levels, and operating budgets.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop strong operational teams.
  • Improve workflow efficiency, productivity, process quality, and inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain adherence to ISO, OSHA, R2, and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support operational excellence and scalable growth.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of leadership experience in operations or warehouse environments.
  • Prior experience in a Site Director, Plant Manager, General Manager, or comparable senior leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage site-level performance.
  • Hands-on experience with P&L ownership, inventory control, and operational KPI management.
  • Working knowledge of Lean methods, continuous improvement, and compliance-focused operations.
  • Background in ITAD, electronics recycling, reverse logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing is preferred.
