Role Overview

The Director of Operations at OpenWorks holds a vital leadership position responsible for ensuring operational excellence across a multi-state territory. This role involves leading a team of Operations Managers, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Experience, Provider Growth, and Finance teams, while guaranteeing excellent service delivery and supporting profitable expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of Operations Managers, promoting accountability and high performance throughout various territories.
• Oversee regional operations, focusing on customer retention, territory expansion, provider effectiveness, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Design and implement regional operational plans, strategies, and initiatives aligned with the organization's objectives.
• Develop strong partnerships with key departments including Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, and Provider Growth to boost business outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Interpret business performance metrics to discover improvement opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive continuous enhancements.
• Lead strategic projects, conduct business reviews, manage customer escalations, and engage in operational planning to foster long-term success.
• Promote operational uniformity, scalable processes, and leadership growth within the region.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of seven years in operations leadership within service or multi-site settings.
• At least three years managing and mentoring leaders, with proven success in developing high-performing management teams.
• Skilled in leveraging data, KPIs, and process improvements to enhance operational outcomes.
• Experienced in crafting and executing regional strategies that yield concrete business results.
• Strong commercial insight with the ability to balance customer service, operational tasks, and business performance.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, capable of influencing all organizational levels.
