Director of Supply Chain

Position Overview

ENTEK, located in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead the supply chain operations for its machinery division. The role involves managing inventory, production scheduling, logistics, and customer fulfillment while coordinating efforts among operations, engineering, sales, and project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement supply chain strategies focusing on production capacity, inventory objectives, product assortment, and demand forecasting.
• Direct monthly planning processes involving sales, inventory, demand, and operations.
• Establish and track key performance indicators for inventory quality, timely delivery, production efficiency, shipment, and fulfillment.
• Evaluate customer demand trends and synchronize production resources to ensure delivery requirements are met.
• Oversee inventory assembly, material handling, and develop contingency plans to reduce supply-related risks.
• Supervise production schedules and adapt plans according to dynamic business and operational circumstances.
• Manage warehousing, logistics, inventory planning, and material flow operations.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, finance, sales, operations, and customer service.
• Lead and mentor supply chain and logistics staff, promoting a cooperative team environment.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in supply chain management or operational planning.
• Proficient in material planning, production scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
• Preferred credentials include APICS certification, a Master's degree in a related field, and experience in manufacturing, international logistics, and high-volume or multi-site operations.

Work Schedule and Travel

This is a full-time, exempt position scheduled Monday through Friday during day shift hours. Occasional travel, potentially including international trips, may be necessary.
