Overview

Maverick Power is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead both outward-facing brand and marketing efforts and internal communications. This is a leadership role within the Commercial Team, focused on shaping messaging, strengthening brand presence, supporting launches, driving customer engagement, and helping the business grow. The company operates in the manufacturing and production space, and this position also keeps a close eye on trends and performance in adjacent markets to ensure the strategy stays modern, competitive, and aligned with best practices.

This is a remote role with 25% travel.

What You Will Do

  • Set and execute a marketing roadmap that supports company growth and commercial goals
  • Position marketing as a key driver of brand growth, demand creation, and customer engagement
  • Recruit, guide, and develop a strong marketing team across core functions
  • Define performance metrics and build a culture focused on accountability and measurable outcomes
  • Monitor marketing trends, benchmarks, and performance data across manufacturing, production, and adjacent industries
  • Lead corporate brand direction to create a distinctive and compelling market presence
  • Manage external communications such as public relations, thought leadership, media outreach, and executive visibility
  • Keep messaging consistent across channels so the brand story and value proposition stay aligned
  • Strengthen the company’s visibility in key ecosystems such as data center, AI infrastructure, cloud, and sustainability initiatives
  • Align internal and external communications to create a unified employee and customer experience that supports loyalty
  • Plan and run multi-channel campaigns across digital, account-based marketing, content, and events to build pipeline and accelerate revenue
  • Work closely with Business Development and Sales to focus marketing spend on key accounts, target segments, and growth opportunities
  • Improve channel mix and budget allocation to maximize return on investment and business impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales Operations, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10 to 15+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including leadership experience
  • Proven ability to build and scale marketing teams and capabilities
  • Clear evidence of influence on revenue growth, brand strength, and overall commercial results
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with disciplined execution
  • Deep knowledge of brand management, demand generation, digital marketing, and analytics
  • Solid business judgment with the ability to connect marketing activity to financial outcomes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort using marketing technology and analytics tools in a data-driven environment
  • Experience comparing marketing performance and strategy across industries to apply best practices in manufacturing and production
  • Ability to sit for long periods while working at a desk and computer
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work across various settings including facilities, offices, shops, and commercial buildings

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • PMP certification
