Role Summary
This position is designed for a marketing leader adept at navigating the demands and rewards associated with early-stage fashion enterprises. The Director of Growth & Marketing will spearhead all marketing strategies and operations, working directly under the Founder. This role involves leading brand marketing, digital initiatives, e-commerce, customer base expansion and retention, content and advertising efforts, as well as managing the marketing team. The role can be fractional for a negotiated duration but requires full accountability for growth targets and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing and growth strategies.
- Drive initiatives aimed at increasing qualified traffic, acquiring and retaining customers, and boosting revenue.
- Manage digital advertising, e-commerce platforms, website optimization, email campaigns, social media, and content development.
- Convert the Founder’s creative vision into strategically sound, commercially viable marketing campaigns.
- Lead collaborations with photographers, designers, content creators, influencers, marketing agencies, and freelancers.
- Set clear priorities, allocate budgets, define timelines, and establish performance metrics and reporting standards.
- Analyze the customer journey to optimize the sales funnel and enhance customer experience.
- Build and lead a motivated, accountable, and high-performance marketing team.
- Adjust marketing strategies in response to product launches, inventory levels, customer behavior, and evolving market conditions.
- Enhance brand recognition, cultivate customer loyalty, and strengthen the company's sustained market positioning.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in women’s fashion, luxury goods, beauty, or related consumer sectors.
- At least 5 years hands-on experience in e-commerce and digital marketing leadership roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in steering marketing strategies for fashion or consumer brands.
- Proven success in delivering commercial growth beyond just brand awareness.
- Deep understanding of paid media, e-commerce platforms, customer acquisition and retention strategies, and performance marketing analytics.
- Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both creative and business units.
- Strong ownership mindset with independent working ability suited for a startup environment.
- Established industry connections within fashion, media, creative, influencer, agency, or digital marketing circles.
- Proficiency in leveraging artificial intelligence and modern technologies to enhance productivity, analytics, and marketing delivery.

Compensation Details
The position offers a base salary range from 140000 to 180000 USD annually, adjusted based on experience and qualifications. Performance incentives tied to specific growth and business targets are included. Exceptional candidates or those in fractional roles may negotiate alternative compensation arrangements.
