Job description

About Us

BIBA has been thoughtfully reimagined from an 85-year legacy into a private members club and boutique hotel in West Palm Beach’s historic El Cid neighborhood. It brings together a community of tastemakers, innovators, and leaders in a setting designed for an elevated, creative, and social experience.

About BIBA Social

BIBA Social is the next chapter of that history: a private social club for modern cultural leaders and entrepreneurial minds. With a planned opening in late fall 2026, the organization is building a leadership team that will help define the club’s identity, establish its standards, and create the foundation for long-term excellence.

Role Overview

The Director of Food & Beverage will lead all food and beverage activity across two restaurants, three social spaces, several satellite bars, and the club’s production and catering kitchens. The position is focused on delivering an exceptional member experience through disciplined operations, consistent culinary execution, staff development, and inventive service programming.

This leader will also help grow and refine the F&B program, including operating supplies management, training systems, leadership development, and both on-site and off-site catering. The goal is to build a stable, scalable operation that is aligned with the brand and prepared for future succession.

Core Responsibilities

  • Direct service and operations across two restaurants, three social spaces, and multiple satellite bars while keeping standards and brand presentation consistent.
  • Stay actively present in the venues each day to support smooth service, guest satisfaction, and overall operational flow.
  • Oversee satellite production kitchens, including work processes, quality checks, inventory control, and support between outlets.
  • Handle culinary and service coordination for in-house and off-site catering, private functions, and member events.
  • Lead the evolution of the food and beverage program through menu updates, seasonal concepts, beverage direction, and experience-based programming.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Beverage Director to preserve quality, consistency, and innovation.
  • Manage operating supplies forecasting, purchasing, par levels, and cost discipline across all venues and production spaces.
  • Own departmental budgets and financial performance, with a focus on profitability and efficient operations.
  • Create a trainer network to support strong onboarding, consistent service delivery, and ongoing skill growth.
  • Design and lead a train-the-trainer approach that strengthens coaching ability, teaching methods, and brand-aligned communication.
  • Build leadership development paths that support internal growth, succession planning, and operational continuity.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all food and beverage functions to improve clarity, accountability, and continuity.
  • Represent the club with professionalism, diplomacy, patience, and discretion when working with high-expectation members.
  • Protect and express the club’s cultural identity through excellent hospitality, thoughtful programming, and elevated guest experiences.
  • Create fresh and engaging offerings that appeal to curious, creative, and entrepreneurial members.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership background in luxury hospitality or high-volume food and beverage environments.
  • Experience launching new restaurants or hotels, especially in multi-brand or multi-unit settings.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-outlet operations, production kitchens, or catering programs successfully.
  • Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and keep high-performing teams engaged.
  • Solid command of operating supplies management, inventory controls, and cost control practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in member-facing situations.
  • Ability to handle demanding member interactions with tact and professionalism.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior, strong operational standards, and a culture of excellence.
  • Hands-on experience with Toast, PeopleVine, Google Workspace, SevenRooms, P&L management, inventory systems, and scheduling tools.

Benefits

  • Health benefits
  • Paid vacation time
  • Paid holidays
  • Bonus package, to be determined
