Role overview
Titan Asset Management Group is hiring a Director of Finance to oversee accounting and financial leadership for a multi-state hospitality portfolio based in Rochester, Minnesota. This position plays a key role in guiding performance, supporting expansion, and strengthening financial operations across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the full scope of accounting and finance activities for a hospitality portfolio operating across multiple states.
- Build yearly budgets, forecasts, capital spending plans, and financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Prepare financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations for senior leadership and ownership stakeholders.
- Work closely with hotel leadership to improve margins, control costs, and support revenue objectives.
- Manage monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow oversight, and financial controls.
- Make sure financial statements and operating reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Create and track key performance indicators to evaluate results and identify business trends.
- Oversee both internal and external audits while maintaining compliance with tax and financial regulations.
- Review and refine accounting processes, systems, and reporting tools to improve speed and accuracy.
- Lead, coach, and grow a finance and accounting team.
- Contribute to acquisitions, new development projects, and other strategic growth activities as required.
- Maintain strong collaboration with operations, sales, revenue management, and executive teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting.
- Background managing financial operations across multiple locations or business units.
- Solid command of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with success building and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
Preferred background
- CPA certification.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or lodging environments.
- Exposure to multi-state operations.
- MBA or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience working with ownership groups, asset managers, and management agreements.
- Familiarity with hotel accounting systems, revenue management, and food and beverage operations.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. A bachelor’s degree in Finance is preferred.
