Job description
About Good Inside
Good Inside is revolutionizing the concept of parenting by treating it as a learnable skill rather than an innate ability. Established by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, the company blends strong leadership with cutting-edge technology to provide parents with personalized guidance, AI-driven support, and a worldwide community. Our goal is to support parents in nurturing resilient and self-assured children amidst a dynamic world. Having already impacted millions, we are continuously enhancing our product and broadening our outreach to assist more families.
Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and accountable Director of Emerging Business to lead the expansion into impactful, non-core revenue avenues. This role involves identifying and cultivating new business opportunities as well as securing partnerships that extend our influence and generate significant revenue. The initial focus will be leading our newly launched one-on-one parent coaching service and establishing enterprise partnerships across various sectors to amplify our reach.
This position offers considerable independence, with direct reporting to the President, and involves shaping the definition of "emerging business" for Good Inside. It is a hybrid role requiring three days per week at our Midtown Manhattan office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the 1:1 services line including pricing, packaging, and developing new offerings, growing this early success into a substantial business area.
- Collaborate with the coaching team on capacity management and service quality, while driving growth and revenue.
- Create and launch related revenue streams such as new service formats, upselling strategies, and session-based products.
- Manage and improve reporting and forecasting for 1:1 services and associated revenues, focusing on metrics like conversion, upgrade rates, retention, and unit economics to ensure accountability and maturation of this high-potential channel.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, content, finance, and other teams to establish and scale new business opportunities.
- Investigate further emerging possibilities such as licensing, international expansion, and media as the business evolves.
- Source, pitch, and finalize enterprise and institutional partnerships with direct-to-consumer companies, healthcare systems, educational organizations, and employers seeking scalable, evidence-based parenting support.
- Manage the entire deal process from prospecting through contract execution, coordinating with legal, finance, and operations to develop pricing and delivery models.
- Maintain and forecast an enterprise opportunity pipeline employing disciplined sales and reporting methods similar to the 1:1 business segment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over 5 years of experience owning a service or subscription revenue line, including responsibilities in pricing, packaging, forecasting, and coordinating delivery across functions.
- Proven experience in building or scaling a personalized high-touch service business such as coaching, therapy, or tutoring is highly advantageous.
- An ability to balance exceptional customer experience while pursuing aggressive growth targets.
- Experience in enterprise or partnership sales with skills in prospecting and closing deals, though this is not a purely hunting-focused role.
- Comfortable navigating uncertainty, working rapidly, and skilled in both data analysis and sales interactions.
- Strong collaborator with product, coaching, legal, and finance departments.
- Aligned with Good Inside’s mission and adept at communicating and storytelling to diverse audiences.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range of $195,000 to $220,000.
- Equity participation in the company.
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company matching.
- Paid time off for rest and rejuvenation.
- Hybrid working arrangement offering flexibility.
- Supportive culture valuing high ownership, performance, and collaboration.
Equal Opportunity and Inclusion

We aim to foster a diverse and talented team and provide an inclusive environment where everyone receives the support and opportunity needed to thrive.
