Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic Director of Business Intelligence to spearhead the company's next stage of data transformation. This position is pivotal in equipping Cint's global teams with advanced tools and timely insights that improve platform efficiency, business strategy, and day-to-day operations. Our goal is to advance from traditional reporting to intelligent automation and AI-driven analytics, fostering a scalable self-service environment for real-time, data-driven decisions across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy that shifts the culture from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-driven operations enhancing business agility.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Marketing, and Product to ensure BI initiatives support overarching global objectives.
  • Create and maintain enterprise-wide KPIs and executive dashboards to consistently track performance and drive accountability.
  • Manage the evolution and optimization of our cloud data infrastructure to maximize query performance, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and dependability.
  • Consolidate data models organization-wide to eliminate isolated data silos, ensuring a centralized, governed, and reliable source of truth.
  • Oversee data governance, cataloguing, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards across various regions.
  • Implement strict standards for data quality and observability to establish lasting trust in analytics and reporting outputs.
  • Handle vendor partnerships and the BI budget with a focus on cost efficiency, including Databricks compute resource management.
  • Supervise timely month-end data delivery while driving process automation for sustainable efficiency improvements.
  • Champion the integration of AI and advanced analytics to automate insights, boost forecasting accuracy, and proactively recommend business strategies.
  • Lead the adoption of modern BI tools empowering teams with self-service analytics under robust data governance frameworks.
  • Drive organizational change management and data literacy programs to foster widespread adoption of BI and analytics capabilities.
  • Manage and cultivate a global team of engineers and analysts, steering the department from manual data workflows towards innovative, strategic value creation.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Experienced in directing distributed, high-performing BI teams through platform migrations, organizational change, and tool advancements while nurturing a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Proven leadership in global BI functions within technology-oriented firms.
  • In-depth expertise with modern data stacks, notably Databricks.
  • Adept at translating complex data engineering concepts into clear business benefits for senior non-technical leadership.
  • Skilled at managing remote, multinational teams across different time zones.
  • Educational background in quantitative disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Focuses on building scalable systems that address long-term business challenges rather than just routine reporting.
  • Can harmonize diverse departmental needs while upholding unified data standards.
  • Thrives in ambiguous environments, adapting strategies as business priorities evolve.
  • Experience with AI-driven automation and predictive analytics in BI functions is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the digital insights, market research, or programmatic sectors is a plus.
