Role overview
This is a senior sales leadership role for a partner company operating in the United States. The position focuses on steering regional business development for the Northeast territory within a fast-moving, technically complex electronics and connectivity market. You will own regional growth strategy, guide a high-performing sales team, and help expand revenue, customer relationships, and market share through close coordination with internal stakeholders.
The role suits a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in a data-led, performance-focused environment. Success in this position depends on commercial judgment, strong people leadership, and the ability to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute regional business development plans to meet revenue goals and support long-term growth across the Northeast.
- Lead, coach, and develop an outside sales and business development team so that performance expectations and customer engagement standards are consistently met.
- Expand the pipeline and drive revenue growth by spotting new market opportunities and deepening relationships with important customers and strategic accounts.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, product, and leadership teams to deliver strategic initiatives effectively.
- Track, review, and present sales performance data, KPIs, and forecast accuracy to senior leadership.
- Create and roll out structured sales processes, incentive plans, and performance systems aligned with business goals and best practices.
- Run customer and internal business reviews to uncover growth opportunities, improve forecasting, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
- Plan resources effectively and improve productivity across people, tools, and systems to maximize commercial results.
- Promote a culture centered on accountability, urgency, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in business development or sales leadership, including responsibility for teams tied to substantial revenue, typically $50M or more.
- A demonstrated history of delivering steady revenue growth and meeting or surpassing annual growth goals.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to recruit, coach, and grow high-performing sales teams.
- Solid understanding of CRM and ERP platforms, sales analytics tools, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong commercial thinking and strategic planning ability, with a data-driven approach to improving performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay effective under pressure, and deliver results in a fast-paced, target-oriented setting.
- A customer-first mindset along with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Benefits
- Annual compensation in the range of $135,000 to $150,000.
- A leadership role with major revenue responsibility and regional ownership.
- Flexible remote or hybrid working arrangements within the United States.
- The chance to lead and shape a strong regional sales organization.
- Exposure to a global portfolio of advanced electronic components and connectivity solutions.
- Strong potential for career growth inside a large, expanding technology-focused organization.
- A collaborative, cross-functional culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.
