About the School
The Glennie School is an Anglican boarding and day school in Toowoomba, Queensland, serving girls from Pre-Prep through Year 12. Role Overview
The Director of Academics is responsible for leading the strategic and day-to-day direction of Years 7 to 12 academic programs. The role ensures that teaching and learning remain current, compliant, evidence-based, and closely connected to the school’s broader goals for academic quality, character development, and the holistic growth of every student.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this position works with Heads of Department, Learning Support, Careers, and VET to build strong systems that support excellent teaching and learning within a Culture of Thinking and the school’s “All She Can Be” ethos.
Employment Details
This is a full-time, individual employment contract for a period of 5 years. The role includes teaching duties equivalent to approximately one class. The appointed candidate is expected to start at the beginning of the 2027 academic year.
