Position Overview

This role, based in the United States and aligned with the Pacific Time Zone, focuses on leading strategic relationships by guiding new partner firms through their integration and ensuring their sustained growth within a larger network. The Director, New Partner Success acts as the main liaison for advisory firms joining this network, fostering their operational, cultural, and commercial prosperity. This leadership position involves managing portfolios of firms, forging dependable partnerships with owners and senior executives, and driving tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in pre-acquisition assessments evaluating cultural compatibility, operational preparedness, integration challenges, and prospective partnership value.
  • Develop customized transition plans, identify retention risks, and set priorities prior to partnership finalization.
  • Serve as the dedicated contact for newly integrated partner firms throughout their journey and beyond.
  • Establish and cultivate trusting relationships with firm principals and leadership to comprehend objectives, obstacles, and expansion opportunities.
  • Coordinate onboarding, introductions, operational routines, and integration milestones involving both internal and partner teams.
  • Lead post-transition initiatives including growth plans, business enhancements, capability integrations, and synergy realization.
  • Track firm metrics related to growth, client retention, financial health, engagement, and progress of integration.
  • Identify risks proactively and spearhead resolution efforts to prevent adverse impacts on business or relationships.
  • Conduct business reviews, solicit partner feedback, and provide insights to refine integration processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in operations, marketing, human resources, finance, and advisory to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Create scalable reporting, processes, and playbooks to enhance partner success program efficiency.
  • Offer strategic contributions from partner interactions to influence broader organizational improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in wealth management, financial services, consulting, business operations, or senior relationship management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging directly with business owners, founders, executives, or senior professionals.
  • Knowledge of advisory firms, professional services, or similar client-centric businesses is preferred.
  • Proven track record in driving business outcomes, managing strategic partnerships, and influencing leadership decisions.
  • Strong background or exposure to organizational change management, mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or business transformation projects is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication abilities for clear executive presentations and managing sensitive discussions.
  • High emotional intelligence with the skill to establish credibility rapidly among seasoned professionals.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities in dynamic environments.
  • Strategic thinker able to connect individual business challenges with larger organizational goals.
  • Analytical proficiency comfortable with evaluating business performance indicators and growth initiatives.
  • Aptitude for designing processes, frameworks, and operating models to develop novel solutions.
  • Possesses a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and autonomous working style.
  • Leadership experience or potential readiness for people management roles.
