Job description
About the Team
Advanced Hydration is a fast-moving business unit at The Coca-Cola Company focused on shaping the next phase of the hydration category. Its portfolio includes BODYARMOR Sports Drink, POWERADE, vitaminwater, and smartwater. The environment values entrepreneurial thinking, close teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to challenge conventional approaches in a category that changes quickly.
This role is part of a collaborative group working to strengthen the future of hydration through strong execution, cross-functional partnership, and measurable business impact.
Role Overview
The Director of Integrated Marketing is responsible for building and leading the integrated marketing approach for the Advanced Hydration portfolio across multiple bottling partners. The position turns national brand direction into localized plans that build awareness, educate consumers, increase trial, and support strong execution in market.
Because this role operates in a highly matrixed setting, success depends on influence, partnership, structured execution, and the ability to drive outcomes without relying on direct authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the integrated marketing strategy and yearly activation roadmap for BODYARMOR, POWERADE, vitaminwater, and smartwater across several bottlers.
- Adapt national brand and partnership priorities into local programs that improve awareness, consumer understanding, trial, and consistent in-market delivery.
- Lead marketing communications with bottlers, ensuring leadership and field teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, creative assets, and execution standards.
- Act as the go-to expert on bottler and customer priorities, using collaboration and negotiation to shape behavior and activate programs.
- Spot and execute local marketing opportunities with strong impact, including experiential, sampling, sponsorship, athlete-led, and retail initiatives.
- Work closely with Brand, Media, PR, Social, Shopper Marketing, Consumer Insights, Commercial, and Franchise Leadership teams to build integrated consumer touchpoints.
- Oversee the territory marketing budget, including planning, allocation, monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Track performance for campaigns and programs, prepare KPIs and post-program reviews, and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Provide bottlers with the tools, assets, and playbooks needed to execute quickly, accurately, and consistently.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in integrated marketing, field or experiential marketing, shopper marketing, or partnership marketing in a complex matrix organization; experience in CPG or beverage is strongly preferred.
- Must be based in the Northeast region and located in NH, NY, NJ, or PA.
- Proven success converting brand strategy into effective local execution across in-store, experiential, digital, and social channels.
- Experience partnering with bottlers, distributors, or franchise organizations and influencing execution without direct reporting authority.
- Strong background in budget management, performance analysis, and executive-level reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while moving quickly from strategy to action.
- Strong analytical capability, with solid working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willing and able to travel up to about 50% to support bottler engagement and execution in market.
- Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time and must not need company sponsorship now or in the future for work authorization or visa support.
