Position Overview

We are recruiting a Director of Global Organizational Capability & Leadership to join our team in Irvine, California. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role is pivotal in driving strategies to develop leadership, workforce skills, and a learning culture that supports operational excellence, innovation, and sustained growth. This position collaborates closely with leaders across operations, commercial, engineering, and digital sectors to design and implement scalable leadership and workforce development programs aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive global capability strategy aligning workforce skills and leadership with business aims.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast capability needs and develop learning initiatives that facilitate growth and transformation.
  • Introduce frameworks and metrics to assess organizational readiness, capability advancement, and internal talent mobility.
  • Develop and integrate leadership models to enhance effectiveness at every organizational level.
  • Support succession planning and cultivate leadership pipelines to maintain organizational strength over time.
  • Coach leaders to effectively manage teams through change and transformation processes.
  • Design contemporary learning approaches combining digital tools, experiential activities, and hands-on development.
  • Work with learning and business leaders to establish structured development pathways for various talent segments.
  • Promote a culture centered on continuous learning and growth.
  • Lead people-focused aspects of strategic transformation projects, including technology adoption and process improvements.
  • Strengthen change leadership capabilities to boost agility, accountability, and new work methods adoption.
  • Utilize workforce data and engagement insights to enhance culture, collaboration, and performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or related areas; advanced degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of progressive experience in organizational development, leadership cultivation, learning strategy, or talent management.
  • Proven success in designing and deploying enterprise-wide capability and leadership development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting global organizations through periods of growth and change.
  • Strong presence and influence with senior executives to drive widespread adoption of people and leadership solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex business strategies into scalable talent development programs.
  • Excellent analytical, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $186,000 per year.
