Job description
Role Overview
NetApp is looking for a Director, Chief of Staff to sit at the heart of a fast-scaling Go-To-Market organisation spanning EMEA and LATAM. This position is designed for someone who can bring strategy, structure, and momentum to a complex, multi-region business while working closely with senior leaders.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and execution partner, turning priorities into measurable action, connecting functions, and helping leadership operate with greater focus and impact. The opportunity offers significant exposure to regional leadership and the chance to influence how the GTM organisation grows and runs.
What You'll Do
- Convert growth priorities into concrete plans with clear milestones and follow-through.
- Use data and performance signals to monitor progress and support decision-making.
- Help run leadership routines such as business reviews, forecasting cycles, and planning sessions.
- Bring together Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, HR, Finance, and Talent teams around shared goals.
- Align stakeholders on priorities including market expansion, pipeline growth, hiring plans, and performance improvements.
- Surface risks early, clear obstacles, and accelerate execution across teams.
- Improve the cadence and effectiveness of leadership forums and operating rhythms.
- Support annual planning and in-year planning with strong cross-functional coordination.
- Introduce greater structure, clarity, and discipline to business operations and outcomes.
- Support consistent communication across the organisation.
- Work with Communications and Marketing on leadership messaging and employee engagement communication.
- Help ensure strategic priorities are understood across a distributed workforce.
- Strengthen leadership-team effectiveness by supporting alignment and high-quality decision-making.
- Facilitate conversations, challenge assumptions where needed, and drive timely decisions.
- Focus attention on the most important priorities when demands compete.
- Lead high-impact initiatives that affect business performance.
- Bridge the gap between strategy and execution, with attention to measurable outcomes.
- Represent leadership in important forums and programmes as required.
What You Bring
- Strong commercial understanding and experience in go-to-market areas such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Operations.
- A proven history of running complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving environments.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes without formal authority.
- An analytical approach with the ability to turn information into practical insights and action.
- Strong executive communication and presence.
- Comfort working through ambiguity while creating clarity, direction, and structure.
- High integrity and sound judgement when handling sensitive or complex matters.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Significant impact: help shape how a large regional GTM organisation executes and delivers growth.
- Strong visibility: work directly with senior leadership and contribute to important business decisions.
- Broad exposure: collaborate across multiple functions, regions, and strategic priorities.
- Accelerated growth: build a rare blend of strategy, operations, and leadership experience.
