Key Responsibilities
- Provide rewarding assistance that promotes personal growth and wellbeing of individuals served.
- Foster authentic relationships with participants to motivate and support them.
- Operate with autonomy and trust, making ethical decisions for the benefit of participants.
- Encourage participant involvement in community activities and favorite pastimes.
- Support developmental goals such as budgeting, physical activity, and nutrition education.
- Assist with personal care needs and support individuals facing behavioral and complex challenges.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background required.
- Preferred: At least six months experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination roles.
- Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking ability, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Demonstrate compassion, patience, reliability, and responsibility in caregiving.
- Valid driver’s license, access to a registered vehicle, and proof of insurance required for travel.
