About the Position
Join a dynamic global marketing team as a Digital Marketing Specialist / Officer in South Melbourne, VIC. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with four days at the office and Monday remote work, starting at 1 PM and concluding between 6 PM and 7 PM, with remaining hours worked remotely. The salary range is $65,000 to $100,000 annually, with a biannual bonus paid in June and December, offering an excellent opportunity for a talented candidate to negotiate compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a digital marketing team operating across multiple countries and locations.
- Develop KPI frameworks to align with global performance goals and track outcomes.
- Strategize and implement digital channel expansion to support international growth efforts.
- Manage relationships with media platforms, agencies, and marketing technology vendors.
- Negotiate terms for media buying and partnerships with marketing technology providers.
- Oversee campaign setup, management, and optimization on platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and DSPs.
- Analyze user acquisition funnels and campaign metrics across various global markets.
- Utilize tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Excel for data-driven insights.
- Conduct competitive and market research to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with product, brand, and regional teams to ensure consistent marketing execution worldwide.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum three years of digital marketing experience, including leadership or international team management.
- Proficiency in performance marketing and managing campaigns across multiple digital channels.
- Strong negotiation capabilities with media and platform partners.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSP platforms, and marketing technologies.
- Analytical skills with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Excel or Google Sheets.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for global coordination.
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
- Background in SaaS, B2B, fintech, or consumer technology sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM and automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and scaling campaigns on a global scale.
- Knowledge of global data privacy regulations including GDPR and PDPA.
- Established relationships with major media channels like Meta, Google, TikTok, and DSPs.
- Experience in online betting industry and Mandarin language skills are advantageous.
Compensation & Work Arrangements
- Competitive annual salary between $65,000 and $100,000 AUD, negotiable for strong candidates.
- Biannual performance bonuses paid in June and December, prorated for start date.
- Hybrid work model with four days in the office and one day remote (Monday).
- Transport allowance of $20 per day for in-office days requiring work until 7 PM.
