You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and lead strategy for automation, segmentation, testing, and deliverability while mentoring others.

  • Design and continually refine automated campaign flows and segmentation strategies for targeted engagement.
  • Perform rigorous data analysis to uncover root causes behind campaign performance and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Lead A/B testing initiatives on subject lines, content, design, and scheduling to improve key performance indicators.
  • Create audience segmentation approaches based on behavioral and lifecycle data rather than fixed criteria.
  • Provide consultative guidance to marketing, creative, product, and CRM teams as well as clients on email marketing best practices.
  • Own and troubleshoot marketing platforms such as Klaviyo and HubSpot; manage integrations and feature usage.
  • Monitor and improve deliverability by managing bounce rates, spam complaints, sender reputation, and domain health measures.
  • Coordinate end-to-end press release distribution with PR partners ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts independently, handling complex campaigns and mentoring junior team members.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Expertise with email marketing platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot, Customer.io, or Braze, especially multi-hub and multi-flow setups.
  • Strong experimentation mindset with experience in designing and running A/B tests.
  • Data-driven analytical skills for campaign reporting and insight generation.
  • Ability to build sophisticated segmented audiences from behavioral data.
  • Experienced in managing multiple concurrent campaigns and client portfolios.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail for quality assurance.
  • Operational mindset focused on process improvement and accuracy while maintaining speed.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Experience with SMS marketing tools such as Klaviyo, Twilio, or Attentive.
  • Familiarity with press release distribution and PR/newswire tools.
