Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist in Canada, offered through a partner employer that handles the application review and subsequent hiring steps. The position blends content, growth, and community work, with a focus on expanding digital audiences across several channels.
You will be responsible for developing and improving marketing efforts across social platforms, email, and owned media, with an emphasis on engagement and measurable growth. The setting is collaborative, fast-paced, and cross-functional, with close coordination across product, creative, and sales teams.
The role calls for someone who can turn technical products into clear, engaging stories for both technical and business audiences. It combines strategic planning with day-to-day execution, from ideation through to performance tuning. It is also a chance to influence how a modern technology brand connects with its audience across digital channels.
Accountabilities
- Manage and expand the brand’s social presence across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and newer channels by producing content tailored to each platform and designed to spark engagement and community participation.
- Drive email marketing from end to end, including campaign planning, automation journeys, segmentation, audience growth, and nurture programs for different buyer groups.
- Create and distribute content for video and social formats, refining hooks, formats, thumbnails, and captions to improve reach and viewer retention.
- Contribute to owned media work, including website and Shopify content updates, landing page improvements, and the rollout of campaign-related assets.
- Help coordinate product launch initiatives across channels, keeping email, social, video, and community messaging aligned.
- Work with product and sales teams to translate technical features into customer-friendly, compelling messaging.
- Adapt existing content into multiple formats, including short clips, email features, social posts, and community conversations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage digital marketing channels such as social media, email, or content-led growth initiatives.
- A strong content strategy approach, with the ability to think in terms of narratives, audience segments, and platform-specific formats.
- Practical experience with email marketing, including segmentation, automation, list growth, and campaign performance improvement.
- Solid understanding of how social platforms work and how to grow organic engagement and audiences across them.
- Comfort working with data, analytics, and AI-supported workflows to improve outcomes and speed up execution.
- Genuine interest in technology, including product launches, industry developments, and the broader digital hardware landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical ideas into clear, persuasive messaging.
Benefits
- Compensation that reflects experience, skills, and location.
- Paid time off beginning at 18 days in the first year, with yearly increases.
- Medical, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage.
- Retirement savings plan with company match of up to 4%, along with profit-sharing opportunities.
- Annual wellness allowance of $500.
- Annual $500 company product credit.
- Yearly professional development budget of $1,500.
- Fully remote working arrangement with flexibility across eligible regions.
