Job description

Overview

Wing is looking for a high-caliber Digital & Field Events Marketer to join M32 AI, a venture-backed team building agentic AI for established service businesses. The environment is designed to feel like a fast-moving startup with the backing and stability of a larger organization, while keeping bureaucracy to a minimum.

This role is ideal for someone with 2 to 4 years of experience who enjoys event logistics, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and likes the challenge of turning events into measurable commercial outcomes. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to convert booth traffic, badge scans, and event engagement into meetings, opportunities, and revenue.

This is the first events hire on the team and is structured as an individual contributor role. The company is seeking someone who values creativity, independence, and the freedom to test new event ideas. It is not a fit for someone who prefers rigid structure or step-by-step direction.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize tradeshows, conferences, and industry gatherings that match the ideal customer profile and revenue objectives, while maintaining a 12-month rolling event plan.
  • Handle negotiations and contracts with event organizers, vendors, and venues, including sponsorships, booth space, speaking opportunities, and other enhancements to maximize budget efficiency.
  • Own event execution from start to finish, including booth setup, shipping, branded materials, lead capture tools, badge scanners, AV, catering, hotel arrangements, and team travel coordination.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact at every event, managing setup, teardown, live troubleshooting, and overall presentation quality throughout the event.
  • Prepare participating team members by aligning them on goals, messaging, target accounts, schedules, and on-site logistics.
  • Work alongside sales to schedule pre-event meetings, organize customer dinners and onsite activities, and ensure leads are captured, qualified, and handed off promptly.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-event promotional activity with marketing, including email campaigns, landing pages, paid media, and social promotion to increase booth visits and meeting bookings.
  • Manage the full event budget, monitor spending, anticipate risks, and make sound trade-off decisions as priorities evolve.
  • Set event KPIs, measure outcomes such as leads, meetings, pipeline, and ROI, and produce clear post-event reports with lessons learned and improvement opportunities.

Why This Role Stands Out

You will own a highly visible function from the beginning and help shape how prospects, customers, and the broader industry perceive the company. The role offers significant ownership, fast growth, and the opportunity to build a portfolio of events you can be proud of.

What The Team Is Looking For

The ideal candidate brings 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or technology settings. You should have a demonstrated ability to run events end to end, manage budgets, define meaningful metrics, and connect event efforts to pipeline and revenue. Strong AI usage in your workflow is essential, with examples such as using AI for research, vendor outreach, reporting, content drafting, or lead enrichment.

Familiarity with HubSpot is enough on the CRM side. The team is also looking for someone with strong project management habits, confidence in vendor negotiation, excellent communication skills, the ability to stay calm when things go wrong, and a willingness to travel frequently during peak seasons.

Location, Travel, and Work Authorization

This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the United States or Canada. Because travel is a core part of the job, candidates should live within about one hour of a major airport with frequent direct flights. The company specifically mentions hubs such as Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC, as well as Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Montreal. Candidates near other major airports with strong direct connectivity to key event cities are also encouraged to apply.

You must already have the legal right to work in the country where you live, as visa sponsorship is not available. The role may require travel of 30% to 50% during busy event periods across North America, with possible travel to Europe as the company expands.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with event platforms such as Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, or Goldcast.
  • Exposure to international events or international vendor management.
  • Background in B2B SaaS or another fast-paced technology environment.

Additional Information

Candidates at this seniority level do not need to complete any initial assessment emails that may be sent during the process.

The company may use AI tools to assist with parts of hiring, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or checking for inconsistencies in submitted materials. These tools support the recruitment team, but final decisions are made by humans. Applicants who want more information about data processing can contact the company directly.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Software support for learning and productivity
  • Paid time off
  • Health insurance
  • High autonomy with minimal bureaucracy
  • Fast-track growth opportunities for strong performers
  • Direct access to the founding team
  • High visibility, ownership, and independence

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is best suited to someone who likes autonomy, enjoys experimenting with new event ideas, is comfortable operating without heavy process, and wants to make a direct impact on revenue and brand perception through events.
