About the Role

Woolworths Group is looking for a Digital Designer to join Greenhouse Collective, its in-house creative team in Sydney. In this role, you will create engaging digital experiences for well-known brands, shape design ideas that strengthen audience engagement, and contribute as a mentor within a fast-moving, collaborative creative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Create high-quality digital artwork and assets for internal channels, websites, and social platforms.
  • Work closely with marketing and brand teams to deliver major integrated campaigns and initiatives.
  • Maintain strong design quality and ensure every output stays aligned with brand identity and standards.
  • Handle projects from early concept development through to final delivery and launch.
  • Develop digital creative for programmatic, social, app, email, and web placements while following brand rules.
  • Use a mobile-first, digital-first approach and apply knowledge of the full creative process to produce consistent experiences.
  • Manage several design streams at once while staying detail-focused and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Flag risks or blockers early and communicate clearly with squad members and line leaders.
  • Collaborate with Greenhouse Collective and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive creative outcomes.
  • Help build a positive team culture centered on customer impact and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 3 years of experience in digital design or a similar creative discipline.
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, colour, and composition across digital formats.
  • Ability to create visuals that are engaging, purposeful, and tailored to different audiences.
  • Advanced experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted and generative design tools and how they fit into modern workflows.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and design tools quickly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with resilience in a demanding environment.
  • Good commercial judgement, strategic thinking, and project management capability.
  • Strong organization skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.
