Role overview
This position sits within Woolworths Group and is based in Hamilton, Queensland, Australia. It is a full-time, on-site role focused on online department leadership, with roster option 1 running from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
About the opportunity
The Department Manager stream is designed to support a rewarding long-term career with Woolworths Group. In this position, you will take ownership of the department from end to end, helping build a connected, flexible and high-performing team that serves customers and communities well. You will work closely with store leadership and team members to make sure the department operates smoothly and customers enjoy a strong shopping experience.
For the Online Manager role specifically, planning and coordination are central to the job. You will help ensure the team meets picking demand and consistently delivers orders that are accurate and on time.
Key duties
You will support day-to-day departmental operations, guide the team with leadership support, and help maintain a safe and efficient workplace. The role also involves collaborating with others across the store to deliver a positive overall shopping experience.
