Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to become an integral member of our progressive dietetic team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. This position involves contributing to dietetic services within the acute hospital settings, managing a diverse inpatient caseload across multiple wards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a patient caseload under the guidance of a Registered Dietitian.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team (MDT) members to ensure optimal nutritional care for patients.
  • Execute administrative tasks including tracking patients on the oncology dietetic pathway and maintaining updated spreadsheets.
  • Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to support various administrative duties.
