Work Schedule and Location
This full-time position involves working two days per week (with negotiable days) and every other weekend, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The role is based onsite at 501 Redmond Rd NW, Rome, Georgia, 30165, and has no on-call responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage daily foodservice tasks including café operations, patient service, and sanitation to guarantee timely delivery, high-quality meals, and cleanliness
- Assist in food preparation, tray assembly, and patient meal distribution according to operational demands
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards ensuring adherence to health regulations and organized workspaces
- Interact with patients and customers to collect feedback, address concerns, and enhance satisfaction levels
- Support team members by facilitating communication, onboarding, and fostering a cooperative, service-oriented environment
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Basic mathematics proficiency
- Effective English reading, writing, and oral communication abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Previous food service experience is preferred
- Certified Food Safety Manager (CFSM) certification is advantageous
