Job description

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Radiographers at band 5 level who are dedicated to patient-centered care and eager to grow professionally within a dynamic and supportive Imaging Department. This position is based primarily in the Main X-Ray units at Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District and General Hospitals in Lancashire. The role involves working shifts across long days, nights, and weekends, rotating through all aspects of Plain Film radiography including theatre support, with potential travel between multiple sites during shifts.

Opportunities exist to expand expertise in other imaging techniques such as CT and Nuclear Medicine, with possibilities for advanced training in these areas.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging team, you will deliver high-quality radiographic images while rotating through the main imaging departments and also providing a mobile service for wards and theatres. Participation in a 24/7 diagnostic imaging service system is expected, including travel between hospital sites.
