Gordonvale State High School, situated 23 km south of Cairns near Walshs Pyramid, is seeking a committed Deputy Principal to join its proactive leadership team. This temporary Deputy Principal position is a chance to influence the school's strategic direction, focusing on leading teaching and learning initiatives that shape student success and community impact. The appointment is initially temporary with extensions up to 12 months.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Principal in guiding the school community toward a shared educational vision that aims for quality learning outcomes for all students.
• Act as Deputy Principal in the Principal's absence.
• Maintain ethical, values-driven leadership in the deputy principal role.
• Promote socially just practices daily within the school environment.
• Establish and uphold high standards for both student and staff performance.
