Key Responsibilities

• Assist the warehouse department head in all organizational and operational daily tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
• Act as the primary point of contact on the floor for daily operational challenges faced by team leaders and the warehouse staff unit.
• Take on a motivating leadership role as deputy head of the warehouse team, coordinating personnel deployment and fostering positive teamwork.
• Share responsibility for operational personnel management alongside the warehouse manager.
• Implement established processes and support the team in successfully managing daily operations with a clear focus on workflows.
• Collaborate closely with the warehouse management and communicate openly through direct feedback.
• Contribute actively with ideas and commitment to optimize warehouse procedures and structures.

Candidate Profile

• Completed commercial training, relevant study, or specialist qualification with several years of experience in logistics or logistics management.
• Preferably multiple years working experience in warehouse logistics, ideally within the food sector.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a natural aptitude for coordinating teams.
• A structured, reliable work style with the ability to understand complex issues and translate them into clear work instructions.
• Resilient during periods of high workload and willing to serve as a role model within your area of responsibility.
• Strong affinity for numbers and proficient in MS Office 365 applications and programs.
