Job description
About the Role
The Rail Licensing Division seeks a proactive and driven individual to manage and oversee rail operators’ licenses, Codes of Practice, commercial activity guidelines, and monitor rail performance. This role supports the advancement and governance of Singapore’s Rapid Transit Systems (RTS) network.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and facilitate approvals for advertising media, commercial spaces, and activities within the RTS network.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for advertisements and commercial venues.
- Support initiatives aimed at making public transport more inclusive for all users.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and refine non-fare policies, guidelines, and initiatives enhancing commuter experience.
- Coordinate management and review of RTS Licenses and Codes of Practice with internal and external parties.
- Handle assessments related to Notices of Offence issued to RTS commuters and manage public feedback responses.
Candidate Profile
- Possess knowledge in any field of study.
- Demonstrate strong written communication, analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities with sound judgment in crafting practical solutions.
- Be self-driven, resourceful, and proactive, capable of independently managing competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Be a team player who is adaptable, takes initiative, and positively impacts team results.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across different functions and organizational hierarchies.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, regulatory, and licensing processes is advantageous.
