Job description

Position Overview

The role involves managing the operations of the Fine Jewelry (FJ) and Watches department within the boutique, ensuring smooth functioning and alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the FJ department to maintain high productivity and customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with area managers to optimize stock usage and inventory management.
  • Contribute to formulating the purchase plan and guarantee team adherence to ordering and transfer protocols.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop an annual marketing calendar and oversee the execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Support the Division Manager in crafting the yearly strategic network plan and in budget preparation.
  • Engage in strategic meetings with suppliers and regional teams to negotiate favorable commercial terms.
  • Monitor daily sales against monthly and annual targets, implementing corrective actions if needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, logistics, and merchandising teams regarding boutique openings, closures, or renovations.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and business associates to foster collaboration.
  • Participate in managerial meetings to evaluate shop performance and report insights to the Division Manager.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
  • Lead, motivate, and provide guidance to the reporting team members.
  • Set performance objectives and budget goals for team members and ensure these targets are achieved.
  • Provide coaching and training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Recognize and fulfill customer needs to exceed their expectations.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum five years of retail experience, with at least two years in a managerial capacity, ideally within luxury sectors such as Fine Jewelry.
  • Demonstrated initiative and commercial creativity coupled with a keen fashion sense.
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury retail industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
