About the role
Domino's is looking for delivery drivers who want a schedule with real flexibility. This role can suit someone seeking part-time hours, a full-time position, or a second job to earn extra income. The job is based at 8309 Martinsburg Pike in Shepherdstown, WV.
What you'll do
- Handle customer orders placed in person and over the phone.
- Prepare products as needed for service.
- Keep ingredients organized in storage areas, the production space, and the walk-in cooler.
- Clean equipment and the store facility each day.
- Share marketing materials as directed.
- Communicate clearly and positively with customers and teammates.
- Take on other duties assigned by the management team.
What we're looking for
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards are required.
- You need access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
- You should be able to read maps and find addresses within the delivery area.
- You must be able to travel across difficult terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- You need to be comfortable driving in poor weather such as rain, sleet, snow, strong winds, and hail.
- A positive, helpful attitude is important.
- You must be willing to follow the company's image and uniform standards.
- You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to high quality standards is expected, even during busy periods.
Essential skills and abilities
- Quick and accurate basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to provide correct cash change.
- Comfort using a computer keyboard and touchscreen for order entry.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow instructions and finish tasks within set time limits.
Physical requirements
- Work is largely done while standing for long periods.
- You may need to move quickly or run when it is safe between the store, vehicle, and customer location.
- You may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and rarely up to 50 pounds.
- Delivery loads can vary in size and weight.
- Climbing ladders may be needed occasionally for cleaning, sign changes, or maintenance.
- Delivering products may involve climbing five or more flights of stairs.
- Crouching, bending, and reaching are frequent parts of product prep, stocking, and cleaning.
