Overview
This full-time position based in Knocktopher, County Kilkenny, involves preparing a variety of hot and cold deli products with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
- Embody Centra's core brand values: pride, energy, imagination, and community orientation.
- Prepare customer orders across fresh food sections including assembling sandwiches, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats following portion control guidelines.
- Cook, prepare, and arrange food items throughout the day to maintain availability and quality.
- Maintain outstanding standards in counter displays for all fresh food departments consistently during operating hours.
- Express enthusiasm for quality food by offering customers valuable knowledge, recipes, and personal suggestions.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally adhering to store policies.
Candidate Profile
- Training in HACCP is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-moving team environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- A genuine passion for food and inspiring customers' shopping experiences.
