Deli Assistant

Overview

This full-time position based in Knocktopher, County Kilkenny, involves preparing a variety of hot and cold deli products with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities

• Embody Centra's core brand values: pride, energy, imagination, and community orientation.
• Prepare customer orders across fresh food sections including assembling sandwiches, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats following portion control guidelines.
• Cook, prepare, and arrange food items throughout the day to maintain availability and quality.
• Maintain outstanding standards in counter displays for all fresh food departments consistently during operating hours.
• Express enthusiasm for quality food by offering customers valuable knowledge, recipes, and personal suggestions.
• Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally adhering to store policies.

Candidate Profile

• Training in HACCP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-moving team environment and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• A genuine passion for food and inspiring customers' shopping experiences.
